However, the half-ton Chevy truck trim can accommodate up to 34.8 -inch tires. Also a 295 tire is too wide for a stock wheel. That is why it rubs. Rule of thumb “most of the time” you can go one size bigger. 285 is the widest you can go and 70 is the tallest you could go. I had the Falken on a past truck in a SL passenger rating and liked them but this time did the LT tire with a D rating. Falken were always good in wet/snowy weather.
