Here's my P365 FCU only thing sticking out is slide lock and take down lever. FCU has to go back into WC grip with takedown vertical and so trigger first and back end with pin to lock it in. Then slide goes on with take down lever vertical and then you engage slidel ock to hold back slide then you pivot.Slingshot method actually gives you some extra (spring) push into battery. If your trying to release the slide with the lever against an empty mag in the gun, yep, gonna be alot harder to overcome the mag spring pressure while trying to push the lever down.
