It has tons of drain spells that give half of the damage you dealt back to you as health. - Death is generally a super fun school. Pretty efficient, not partner-dependent, awesome spells, gear, etc. - Questing without Deer Knight can be a pain, yes. Scarecrow helps but is still low damage and costs a lot of pips.Ever since the buff to Scarecrow, there is almost no point to use Deer Knight since with Epic enhancements, Scarecrow deals almost double the damage Deer Knight does and it steals hp. For my set up, I keep 1 Deer Knight just in case I need to deal a little damage or get a DoT on the enemy. Otherwise, I just use Lulu or Scarecrow.

Eventually someone will let you hatch with them. Just train up a random pet to adult and get to asking. I can get a hatch for around 10k depending on the pets. I used deer knight from a pet at that level with my death wizard.Let's face it, being a death wizard in w101 is frustrating. We don't have a good mass DoT spell, or an all target attack until we get scarecrow, or avenging fossil. All the split attack/heal spells are weaker than normal spells, and it's annoying because battles are so long, and pvp as a death is frustrating.
